Welcome to the official Treasure Island Sport Kite Klub web site. We are a group of kite fliers that get together most Sundays at the Treasure Island Beach, behind the Bilmar Hotel. We fly single line kites, stunt kites and power kites… from the smallest of kites to the largest.
The beach offers plenty of of room for everyone! We are blessed with a beach that is 300 yards wide and miles long. It’s truly one of the best flying areas in the state. Check out this ariel photo taken from a camera mounted on a kite line.
We are devoted to promoting kite flying and in helping others, beginners and advanced alike. We welcome everyone, people who are just visiting, new to the area, new to kiting or are simply looking for good company while flying.
